Yosemite National Park was established on October 1, 1890, giving it 11 energy, Tiger energy, and Libra influence. The modern preservation story began earlier on June 30, 1864, when President Abraham Lincoln signed the Yosemite Grant protecting Yosemite Valley and Mariposa Grove for public use. The 1890 act dramatically expanded that protected landscape and created Yosemite National Park.
The strongest relationship comes through John Muir, born April 21, 1838 under Dog energy. Dog is one of Tiger’s strongest friendly signs, and the National Park Service credits Muir’s writing and activism as instrumental in the campaign that produced Yosemite National Park in 1890.
