Iraq: the story in the numbers

Founded 14 July 1958, a Monday.

Iraq’s modern national identity took shape on July 14, 1958, when a military revolution overthrew the Hashemite monarchy and proclaimed a republican government. The story reaches back through the ancient civilizations of Mesopotamia and the modern Iraqi kingdom established in 1921, while the 1968 Ba’athist takeover created another major layer within the republic. The date carries a 35/8 imprint, a 14/5 day, 23/5 year energy, Dog Eastern energy and Cancer Western energy. Dog is compatible with Tiger and Horse and has Dragon as its direct enemy.

The strongest discovery is that Dog timing repeatedly appears when Iraq rebuilds political structures after major breaks. In 1970, another Dog year, the government issued a major declaration recognizing Kurdish national rights and establishing a framework for autonomy after years of conflict. In 2006, another Dog year, Iraq completed the formation of its first constitutional government in nearly half a century after the overthrow of the Ba’athist regime, amid continuing insurgency and sectarian violence. Horse timing provides a contrasting layer through 1990, when Iraq invaded Kuwait and triggered the Gulf crisis, international sanctions and war. Dragon timing was tested as Dog’s direct enemy cycle, but no sufficiently consistent Iraq specific disruption pattern was established.

CUE: Iraq’s 8 energy is expressed through rebuilding authority after rupture. From the creation of the republic through changing political arrangements, Kurdish autonomy efforts and the formation of a new constitutional government, Iraq repeatedly reconstructs the framework of national power while carrying its identity forward.

Life Path, sun sign and Chinese sign are CUE's reading of the date, not scientific claims. They describe tendencies, never outcomes.
