Croatia declared independence on June 25, 1991, giving its modern state identity a 33 Life Path, a 25/7 day, and Goat Eastern energy. Broad international recognition followed in January 1992, still within the same Goat Eastern year.
The Goat timing returned in 2003, when Croatia formally applied to join the European Union. Then in 2011, a Cat year friendly to Goat, Croatia signed its EU accession treaty. On July 1, 2013, it officially became the EU’s 28th member state.
A separate milestone came in 2009, an Ox year, Goat’s direct enemy, when Croatia joined NATO. That same year Croatia was also entering a severe recession during the global financial crisis.
