Construction of the Berlin Wall began on 13 August 1961, when East German authorities sealed the border around West Berlin with barbed wire, barricades and security forces. Concrete barriers followed within days and developed into the extensive border system that divided the city for more than 28 years.
The date carries an unusually concentrated structural pattern. 13 August 1961 totals 29/11, while its CUE timing carries a 22 Personal Year and 4 Personal Month. In CUE, 22 is the Master Builder, associated with infrastructure, systems and scale, while 4 represents structure and building. The historical expression was remarkably literal: a large physical system was constructed to control movement across a divided city.
The strongest discovery appears at the opposite endpoint. On 9 November 1989, public demonstrations, mass emigration and the announcement of new travel regulations brought crowds to Berlin's border crossings. The crossings opened that evening, effectively ending the Wall's original function. That date totals 38/11, repeating the same 11 carried by the Wall's construction date. It also falls in a Snake year, one of the founding Ox identity's friendly signs.
CUE: The Berlin Wall places 11 at both its beginning and the moment its original function ended. At its construction, that 11 sits beside the unusually literal 22 and 4 combination of large systems and physical structure. Twenty eight years later, 11 returns when the border opens and the structure can no longer perform the purpose for which it was built. Friendly Snake timing adds a second lesson: compatible timing does not always preserve an existing system. It can accompany the transition that changes what that system is able to remain.
