Etsy carries 22 Master Builder energy from June 18, 2005, when the marketplace officially launched. Born in a Rooster year with Gemini influence and an 18/9 day, Etsy’s 22 is unusually literal. Rather than building a traditional retail business around its own products, Etsy built the marketplace, tools, and digital infrastructure that allowed independent creators to build businesses of their own.
Its later history adds another layer. In Etsy’s own Rooster year of 2017, the company went through a major leadership change and restructuring, showing how own-sign timing can amplify transformation rather than simply bring easy success.
