Chick-fil-A’s foundational identity reaches back to May 23, 1946, when S. Truett Cathy and his brother Ben opened the Dwarf Grill in Hapeville, Georgia. The Chick-fil-A name and modern restaurant format emerged in 1967 with the first location at Atlanta’s Greenbriar Mall. The date carries Full Date 30/3, Day 23/5, Month 5, Year 23/5, with Dog as its Eastern sign.
The primary CUE discovery is that Chick-fil-A repeatedly grows by reinventing the practical form of its hospitality. In the Dog year of 1982, the company introduced Chick-fil-A Nuggets and moved into its corporate headquarters in southwest Atlanta. In the Tiger year of 1986, friendly to Dog, Chick-fil-A opened its first standalone restaurant and introduced the Chicken Biscuit, expanding both its physical format and its menu.
