WHERE YOU ARE
Between one version of your life and the next
New chapters rarely announce themselves. A job ends, a relationship changes, a move happens, or nothing happens at all and that is the problem. Either way, you are between one version of your life and the next.
Here is a simple way to reflect on where you are.
STEP 1
Close the last chapter on purpose
Before you plan what is next, name what is ending. Write three things the last chapter gave you and one thing you are glad to leave behind. Endings that are never named tend to follow us into the next thing.
STEP 2
Separate what you want from what you are running from
"I want a new job" and "I cannot stand my current job" lead to different searches. List what you are moving toward, not just away from.
STEP 3
Pick one small first move
Big chapters start with small actions: one conversation, one application, one weekend somewhere new. The aim is not the whole plan. It is the first step you can take this week.
STEP 4
Check your timing
Some periods suit starting; others suit finishing what you have. Looking back, many people notice their big changes cluster in certain kinds of years.
ANOTHER LENS
Your personal year
In numerology, your personal year is the theme of the year you are in, on a nine-year cycle. In CUE it turns on your birthday, not on January 1, so your new year is personal to you.
A 1 year is read as a year of beginnings; a 9 year as a year of completion and release. It is a way of reflecting on timing, not a forecast.
